Pikes Wines – Clare Valley

  • Family-owned since 1984.

  • Estate of 130 ha at Polish Hill River.

  • Famous for Riesling, but also Shiraz, Cabernet, and 20+ varieties.

Pike & Joyce – Adelaide Hills

  • Established 1998 by two South Australian families.

  • Vineyards at Lenswood, ~500–550 m elevation (cool climate, high natural acidity).

2022 ‘Sirocco’ Chardonnay – Pike & Joyce (Adelaide Hills)

  • Notes: White peach, grapefruit, cashew, hints of struck match and cream. Fine texture, clean and dry finish.

2022 ‘Beurre Bosc’ Pinot Gris – Pike & Joyce (Adelaide Hills)

  • Notes: Fresh nashi pear, pink lady apples, hints of grapefruit, musk and spice. Medium-bodied, seamless and balanced.

  • Pairing: Crispy rice crackers with Isaan spiced minced sea bass & trio tomato salsa

2023 ‘Separe’ Grüner Veltliner – Pike & Joyce (Adelaide Hills)

  • Notes: Perfumed stone fruit, pear, rocket, with a savoury roasted root vegetable finish. Textural and layered.

  • Pairing: Isaan pork larb meatballs with apple-vinegar tomatoes & Sichuan-pepper pickled cucumber

2023 Pikes ‘Traditionale’ Riesling (Clare Valley)

  • Notes: Lemon blossom, kaffir lime leaf, green apple, chalky minerality.

  • Pairing: Pani puri with crispy salmon floss & “Saeng Wha” jelly.

2021 Pikes ‘Rising Ground’ Cabernet Franc (Clare Valley)

  • Notes: Red fruits, floral spice, elegant tannins, juicy acidity.

  • Pairing: Bun with Sai Ua (Northern Thai sausage) Hamburg steak & crab-roe mustard.
